The set of works, known as the Aristotle oeuvre and originally consisting of 1462 pages in Greek, consists of notes of his lectures taken by him or his students.In Categories, which is one of Aristotle's texts on logic and consists of 15 chapters, the 10 most general expression types that still exist today, along with the definitions of the concepts of synonymy, homonymy and connotation, are explained. These; essence, quantity, quality, relativity, time, space, situation, position, effect and passivity.In the text called Propositions, which is written on the philosophy of language and consists of 14 chapters, it explains that propositions are expressions that give true or false results and how to separate them from expressions that do not give any results.
