モス HAC-P-A53JA Editorial Review
**** Raiden III x MIKADO MANIAX offers a nostalgic touch for fans of classic arcade shooters while incorporating some modern enhancements that aim to attract new players. It invites gamers into a vivid world filled with customizable options—players can select various game modes, wallpapers, and background music, allowing for a tailored gameplay experience. One of the notable features is the Double Play mechanic, allowing players to pilot two ships simultaneously, injecting an extra layer of challenge into the familiar gameplay. The graphics, although updated to high resolution, have garnered mixed responses. The contrast between the detail of the ship models and the less intricate backgrounds can be off-putting for some, particularly on larger displays; however, on 1080p monitors, the visuals hold up well. Additionally, the thoughtful inclusion of Tate mode enhances the nostalgic arcade feel for vertical shooter enthusiasts. Gameplay retains the strategic element of the Raiden series, encouraging players to think ahead despite the slower ship speed. Yet, this pace may not appeal to everyone, especially those looking for a more frantic style of action. A highlight of the game is undoubtedly its music, featuring both original and remixed soundtracks. The ability to create a personalized playlist for levels elevates the experience, encouraging players to revisit stages for the score alone. Despite its strengths, Raiden III x MIKADO MANIAX faces criticism, specifically regarding the absence of a true 4K vertical mode and perceived upscaled graphics. Additionally, optimization for low-end hardware has been questioned, with some players experiencing issues on specific platforms. Overall, while the game certainly has charm, it may not fully satisfy those with high expectations for the revered Raiden legacy. **
