CAD Audio Multipurpose E100SX Editorial Review
CAD Audio E100SX Large Diaphragm Supercardioid Condenser Microphone delivers impressive sound quality, making it a favored choice for voiceovers and podcasting. Users appreciate its warmer, fuller sound signature, which works well for various voice types, as noted in reviews where the microphone has been described as clean with no self-noise. Although the microphone requires +48v phantom power and connects via XLR, it stands out due to its well-crafted large diaphragm and supercardioid polar pattern, ensuring focused audio capture, reducing background noise effectively in less-than-ideal acoustic environments. However, it's important to handle the microphone with care as the shock mount is noted to be somewhat fragile, despite the overall robust feel of the unit.
