Customer Questions & Answers
-
Question:
What are EASYCARE Comfort Pads for Horses?
Answer: EASYCARE Comfort Pads are specialized cushioning pads designed for horses, available in two thicknesses: 6mm and 12mm. These pads feature three different densities—soft, medium, and firm—to cater to various riding needs and horse preferences. They provide support and shock absorption to keep your horse comfortable, whether during training or casual rides. By offering tailored support, these pads enhance performance and minimize the risk of injury, making them essential for any horse owner. -
Question:
How do I choose the right thickness of EASYCARE Comfort Pads?
Answer: Choosing the right thickness of EASYCARE Comfort Pads depends on your horse’s specific needs and the riding conditions. The 6mm thickness is ideal for everyday riding and lightweight comfort, while the 12mm thickness offers increased cushioning for more intense activities. Consider the horse's condition and the type of saddle used. For example, if your horse has sensitivity issues, opt for the thicker pads. Ultimately, selecting the right thickness will enhance your riding experience while ensuring your horse's comfort. -
Question:
What are the benefits of using different densities in Comfort Pads?
Answer: The option of three densities in EASYCARE Comfort Pads allows horse owners to customize support for their horses. Using a soft density pad can provide relief for horses with sensitive backs, while a firm density pad may be suitable for stronger horses that require more stability. Medium density strikes a balance for general riding. This versatility ensures comfort, promotes healthy movement, and minimizes the risk of discomfort, especially for horses employed in various disciplines. -
Question:
Can these Comfort Pads be used for all types of riding?
Answer: Yes, EASYCARE Comfort Pads are designed for versatility and can be used for various types of riding, including dressage, jumping, and trail riding. The different thicknesses and densities allow riders to select the appropriate pad based on the discipline and the individual horse’s needs. For instance, those partaking in long trail rides may benefit from the added cushioning of the 12mm pad, while competitive riders might prefer a thinner pad for a closer contact feel. This adaptability makes them suitable for all riding styles. -
Question:
How do I maintain and clean the Comfort Pads?
Answer: Maintaining EASYCARE Comfort Pads is essential for their longevity and performance. To clean them, simply rinse with water and use a mild soap if necessary. Avoid using harsh chemicals that could damage the material. After rinsing, allow them to air dry completely before storing. Regular cleaning prevents the buildup of dirt and odors, ensuring a hygienic experience for your horse. Proper maintenance also enhances the pads' durability and effectiveness, making sure they provide consistent support every time you ride. -
Question:
Are these pads compatible with all saddles?
Answer: EASYCARE Comfort Pads are designed to be compatible with a variety of saddles, including dressage, all-purpose, and jumping saddles. Their design ensures that they fit securely against the horse's back while providing the necessary cushioning. However, it's essential to evaluate your saddle's fit with the pad to ensure there are no gaps or pressure points. A well-fitted pad enhances the overall comfort for your horse during rides and can aid in achieving better performance. -
Question:
What skills or qualifications do I need to use these pads effectively?
Answer: No specific skills or qualifications are needed to use EASYCARE Comfort Pads effectively. However, it's beneficial for riders to have some understanding of saddle fitting and horse anatomy to maximize their use. Knowing how to assess your horse’s comfort and responsiveness during rides will also guide you in selecting the most suitable pad thickness and density. This knowledge helps ensure that your horse is well-supported, promoting a better riding experience. -
Question:
Can I use these pads for therapeutic purposes?
Answer: While the primary purpose of EASYCARE Comfort Pads is to provide cushioning and support during rides, they can also have therapeutic benefits. For horses with prior injuries or those recovering from physical stress, the cushioning effect can help reduce impact and provide comfort. Soft density pads, in particular, are ideal for sensitive or recovering horses, helping to alleviate pain while providing stability. Always consult with a veterinarian for specific therapeutic needs. -

Opting for softer density pads may be particularly beneficial for older horses requiring extra support.
