CKE Railings 512512 Editorial Review
### Editorial Review The grommets for cable systems have garnered a largely positive reception from users who appreciate their practicality and purpose. Many customers highlight that they serve well in preventing cable fraying by providing a protective barrier around the hole in the post through which the cable passes. Their design includes a slit that facilitates easy installation even after the cables are in place, making them a convenient choice for those looking to enhance their cable rail systems. Users have mentioned that these grommets give a more finished look to the installation, helping to minimize the risk of debris or insects entering the post holes. In terms of functionality, they perform effectively by adding a layer of protection and dampening sounds between metal posts and cables. Most customers have noted that while these grommets may require some adjustments, such as enlarging the hole for a snug fit, they ultimately contribute significantly to the durability of the cable systems. A few customers did express some dissatisfaction with aesthetics, claiming the grommets did not sit flat and tended to bulge. However, this seems to be a minor issue compared to the overall performance and utility that many appreciate. For those undertaking projects involving cable railings, these grommets seem to be an indispensable addition that contributes to a more robust and visually appealing installation. ### Pros and Cons **
