BURCAM 300506SB 1/6HP Automatic Submersible Utility Pump
The BURCAM 300506S 16HP Automatic Submersible Utility Pump is designed to pump water out in flooded areas automatically. However, it is not auto on and off, so it requires someone to watch it and switch it off at the right time. The unit has a 1 3/4" high start level that can be adjusted if needed, and a six to the eight-foot power cord that allows you to place it where it is required. It can pump water with some debris, but it needs an external check valve since it does not come with one, which can be purchased separately. Unfortunately, some customers have experienced defective products, causing the pump to stop working as advertised. Some customers have reported that it clogs easily, which can be solved by cleaning it from time to time to ensure the float sensor is working correctly.
