Will the Ooma security work with cats?
Answer: My motion sensors are installed upside down to accommodate our cat. But he doesn’t get up onto the countertop in the field of view. -

I have 6 dogs, does the motion sensor have sensitivity adjustments for this?
Answer: J. Martin is correct. However, we have a motion sensor in the garage. Our 2 dog goes out and come back in through the garage. The sensor goes off when they enter the garage and we know when to let them in. It works great for that. -

I have Telo and basic service: is there an added charge for the motion sensor?
Answer: As long as your Telo has room to support another device there is no charge to add Security to your basic system. I had an old Telo and needed to buy one of their upgrade hardware packages. -

Is there a monthly fee? How much? Some reviews say there is but Ooma website says 'no contracts'
Answer: Yes, there is a monthly fee. -

Can you set up the motion sensor to alert you to NO motion after a period of time?
Answer: I don't believe so--it just sends an alert whenever it picks up motion. You may want to confirm with the manufacturer. -
Question:
Can this be used in a mailbox as a mail-received sensor?
Answer: If the mailbox within reach of WiFi from your home then yes. However, the signal to noise ratio at the street front is very low and will drive you nuts unless the sensor is in the mailbox or you live on a dirt road that sees minimal traffic.
