Nutritionist's Take
The dōTERRA On Guard® Natural Whitening Toothpaste is marketed as a natural alternative to conventional toothpaste. Nutritionists appreciate its inclusion of essential oils, such as cinnamon and clove, which may provide antimicrobial benefits and support oral health. The formulation claims to whiten teeth naturally while also freshening breath, which can be appealing to consumers seeking a holistic approach to dental care. However, some potential drawbacks include the presence of natural sweeteners like xylitol, which, while beneficial in moderation, could cause digestive discomfort in sensitive individuals. Additionally, consumers with specific dietary restrictions or preferences (such as those avoiding fluoride or certain flavorings) should check the ingredient list carefully. Overall, the product seems to offer a healthier choice compared to many conventional toothpastes, but individual experiences and reactions may vary.
doTERRA Toothpaste 38910001 Editorial Review
doTERRA On Guard Natural Whitening Toothpaste Fluoride-Free with Hydroxyapatite 4.2oz (2 Pack) is highly praised for its clean, peppermint flavor and effective dental benefits. Users report significant improvements in oral hygiene, with many noticing their teeth stay cleaner for longer periods between dentist visits. The unique formulation, featuring essential oils, allows it to support healthy gums and reduce plaque buildup, making it a favorite among both adults and teens. The natural whitening effect is appreciated, even if not overly dramatic, and many users claim that the toothpaste has contributed positively to their overall health, helping to prevent illnesses. The long-lasting tube provides great value, easily lasting up to six months with regular use.
