Nutritionist's Take
Forever Living's Fields of Greens is marketed as a green superfood supplement containing barley grass, wheatgrass, and alfalfa, which are known for their high nutrient density. Nutritionists often recognize the potential benefits of these ingredients, such as their antioxidant properties and ability to support alkalinity in the body. However, concerns may arise about the sourcing and processing of these greens, as well as the bioavailability of nutrients when consumed in tablet form. Moreover, while this supplement can enhance dietary intake for those lacking greens in their diet, it should not be a replacement for whole foods. Individuals with specific dietary needs, such as those on gluten-free or low-carb diets, should scrutinize the ingredient list for suitability. Overall, while it can be a healthy addition for some, consumers are encouraged to prioritize whole food sources of nutrients for optimal health.
Forever Living Products Alfalfa Editorial Review
Field of Greens is a nutrient-filled supplement that boasts of Barley Grass, Wheat Grass, Alfalfa, and Cayenne ingredients. Each serving size contains 1 tablet, and it's suggested that the tablets be taken twice daily. The supplement works best when patients take it patiently for a month, during which the Green tablets offer a variety of benefits to the body ranging from balancing hormones, addressing sugar cravings to reducing menstrual cramps. It is a vegan supplement, and people often note that it doesn't leave a chalky taste, and the tablets can be "kind of crumbly" yet effective.
