Cyalume Emergency Glow Sticks Editorial Review
The Cyalume 9-2705101 SnapLight LightStick set has garnered mixed reviews from customers, particularly focusing on its functionality and value for price. Many users have commended the brightness and longevity of the light sticks, noting that they provide a vibrant green glow for about 12 hours, with residual dim light for up to 30 hours post-activation. This makes them a suitable choice for emergency situations and night safety. Customers particularly appreciate that the SnapLights outperform many cheaper alternatives in terms of light duration and quality. However, there appears to be a Consensus that the pricing is on the high side. Several reviewers noted that the increasing cost, which has risen above the perceived fair value threshold of $100, could deter potential buyers. Many users expressed their disappointment over the price hike, feeling it bordered on gouging, given the ongoing good experience they have had with Cyalume's products. While some indicate they may still make a purchase if prices return to their earlier levels, others have chosen to wait. Additionally, some users reported inConsistencies with individual sticks, suggesting that defects such as incomplete activation may occur. Despite these concerns, the overall sentiment seems to favor Cyalume for those who are willing to pay a premium for reliable quality. **
