It is made of sturdy aluminum and can take a hit even during active sports like Airsoft. It is also versatile as it can be used for multiple angles and has multiple applications if you just think outside the box. However, the rear cover is poorly designed and requires three tiny screws, which can be annoying if you use it in water given you have to take it out to fully dry. There is a little wiggle room so the gopro will rattle which can be picked up on audio. It also rattled a little bit in the case, but that can be fixed by shimmed it with some pieces of rubber band.
