Axiom Cargo Racks 171269-01 Editorial Review
The Axiom Journey DLX Rear Rack has received mixed reviews from customers. Some users found the rack to be sturdy, durable and able to carry two heavy panniers even on rough trails. It fitting well with various types of tires and is quiet while cycling. However, some users received used products with missing parts and scuffed paint or faced challenges mounting it. The curved piece designed to attach to the rear wheel's mounting holes was found to be flimsy, sharp and, in some cases, chipped off the paint of the bike. The rack was too narrow at the top and didn't allow enough clearance for holding items, and it's not disk ready. However, those who found this rack ideal for their bike and purposes noted that it is easy to attach to bikes with disc brakes, fits 700c tires, and is perfect for holding rear bags. It is also a quality rack that can carry heavy loads, and that fits well with bikes that have no mounting holes. In summary, customer experience indicates that the Axiom Journey DLX Rear Rack is suitable for certain types of bikes and purposes but may come with defects or be inadequate for some users' needs.
