Is it made of real copper or is it just the outer part finish in copper style?
Answer: I have used this pen for a long time and after taking a lot of beating, scratches; I can tell this is entirely made out of copper. There are no other layers showing up underneath. Patina looks great as it ages. Highly recommended. -

Is a converter available for this pen?
Answer: Yes. Well, sort of... They make a squeeze type for it. Though I think a syringe with an old cartridge would be a better option. -

Does this come with ink?
Answer: It usually comes with a single cartridge. It uses standard international ink cartridges. -

Can you use a refill piston cartridge?
Answer: The *only* converter option is the Kaweco squeeze converter. The Kaweco mini piston converter absolutely does not work. Only the squeeze converter works! -

Can the tip be changed with something else on the market? Id like a calligraphy tip or the flat tips
Answer: Kaweco makes a squared nib for calligraphy, but I think it only fits the sport model or larger models, and I have two of them. The calligraphy nib screws on, so it can't fit the smaller pen as is. Definitely call them or write. Kaweco has a web site bur JetPens has a video. Enjoy. -

Answer: It is made in Germany and is of very high quality. -

Does this pen have a converter?
Answer: Yes but I never used it as I refill my own ink cartridges from a bottle using a syringe and the cartridge holds more ink. Great pen, though.
Kaweco Fountain Pens 10000829 Editorial Review
The Kaweco Liliput Copper fountain pen is a high-quality pen made entirely out of copper, which looks better as it ages. It comes with a single cartridge but can also use standard international ink cartridges. The only converter option is the Kaweco squeeze converter. While the squared nib for calligraphy is available, it only fitting the sport model or larger models, so it needs to be ordered separately. The pen is lightweight, durable, and looks good, but it must be unscrewed to expose the nib, which is cumbersome. The pen is back-weighted due to copper's weight and has no clip to keep it secure. The grip section can be too small for people with wet or oily fingers. The extra-fine nib is closer to a Japanese extra-fine than most extra-fine western nibs, and it writes perfectly right out of the box. The pen has a slight copper odor but looks very cool due to the patina on the grip section. While it is recommended to get a clip separately for the pen, the pen's small size is perfect for regular use.
