The Saddlemen Highwayman Slant Saddlebags Classic Jumbo are a good option for those looking for cheap saddlebags. They aren't perfect, as they don't hold their shape well and the straps can start to split at the holes. Some customers also had trouble with the shoelaces used to attach the bags to the bike. However, these bags did what they needed to do as far as carrying items on long road trips without anything falling out. One customer experienced a real safety issue when the nylon string released and the bags rubbed against the rear wheel. Additionally, some customers had issues with the strap tearing only after two weeks of use, but they appreciated the perfect style and size of the bags. Other customers found them great looking right out of the box with lots of room. Overall, the quality isn't perfect, but for the price, these bags can work well for those who don't expect them to last forever.
