Shinwa Rulers Editorial Review
The Shinwa 6" ruler is a high-quality tool with outstanding quality. The scales are dark, sharply defined, and smooth to the touch. It is comparable to the Starrett and Mitutoyo rulers, but at a much lower cost. The graduations are not deep, which prevents creating a saw tooth on the edges of the tool. The only downside is there is a scratch on one side, which is disappointing but doesn't affect the scales' use. The scales are easily readable, even with tired eyes. However, customers should be careful when reading descriptions as this is a Japanese Industrial standardized ruler and is tinier than your finger in width. Overall, it's a decent steel ruler, well made, and precisely accurate.
