The Hydraulic Steering Lock is a reliable and durable accessory for outboard motors. Made of a composite material, it is designed to keep the outboard motor straight during transport, preventing any movement or flopping to the side. This is particularly important for preserving hydraulic seals when traveling on the road. The steering lock is compatible with a variety of outboard motors, including the Mercury 250 PROXS 4-stroke motors and the Mercury 200 PROXS on a Ranger 1880. It can fit in 4" gaps on each side of a hydraulic system steering cylinder. Customers have praised the quality and Construction of the steering lock, noting that it is well-built and likely to last. It snaps firmly in place and provides a secure hold for the outboard motor. The affordability of this product compared to others in the market is also appreciated. Another advantage mentioned by customers is the ease of use and the practicality of the product being tied together, which reduces the risk of losing any component. Overall, the Hydraulic Steering Lock is a reliable and effective solution for keeping outboard motors straight during transport. Its compatibility, durability, and affordability make it a great option for boat owners.
