The Roush 421248 Exhaust System is designed to fit 2011-2014 5.0L V8 and 3.5L V6 F-150's as well as 2010-2014 6.2L V8 F-150 for all cab and bed configurations, though a moderate amount of cutting may be required for some models. The system provides better airflow and reduced back pressure to maximize the potential of the truck. It is a direct replacement, made of 304 stainless steel, but reportedly discolours (not rusts) over time because 409 stainless steel tips are used. The exhaust system is very loud, removing the stock resonator and muffler, and it is recommended to install and hear it before removing it. There are comments of drone, which can be fixed with a Vibrant Part # 1142 3.0" Ultra Quite Resonator. Reception of the exhaust system is mostly positive with many reviewers praising the ease of installation, improved power, and great sound. Although, there were a few reports of having unpleasantly loud volumes and discolouration of the stainless steel.
