Tilta Matte Boxes Editorial Review
The TILTA Tiltaing Mini Matte Box MB-T15 has received mixed reviews from customers. One customer inquires about the size of the square filters for the matte box, which the seller confirms as 4*5.65. Another customer asks if the matte box will fit around their 17mm Olympus micro four-thirds lens attached to a Blackmagic Pocket 4K that's in a Smallrig cage, to which the seller responds that it wouldn't work since the smallest filter step-up ring adapter they found is only 49mm. Another potential customer asks if the product will work with their 45-150 52mm zoom lens at 45, to which the seller replies that it will work if a filter step-up ring is used. Overall, the TILTA Tiltaing Mini Matte Box MB-T15 has some limitations but is suitable for DSLR mirrorless style cameras. It appears to work well with filter step-up rings but may not fit around lenses with front element telescoping.
