Where can I buy the Solera® Standard 12V Universal RV Awning Arms & Hardware Kit?

You can purchase the Solera® Standard 12V Universal RV Awning Arms & Hardware Kit through Ubuy in Guernsey. With a user-friendly interface, Ubuy provides an efficient shopping experience where you can browse the product, check specifications, and make a purchase seamlessly from the comfort of your home.

Is installation of the Solera® Awning Arms complicated?

The installation of the Solera® Awning Arms is designed to be straightforward, with clear instructions included in the kit. Typically, you will need basic tools such as a wrench and a screwdriver. This kit also includes all major components required for a successful installation. Many users find that they can install it in a few hours, allowing you to quickly enjoy the benefits of an automatic awning. This makes it ideal for DIY enthusiasts as well as those seeking a reliable update to their RV setup.

What type of RVs are compatible with the Solera® Awning Arms?

The Solera® Standard 12V Universal RV Awning Arms are designed to be compatible with a wide range of RV models. This includes both motorhomes and travel trailers, owing to its universal design that accommodates different awning configurations. Before purchasing, it is recommended to verify the specifications of your RV to ensure a perfect fit. This versatility makes the product highly appealing to RV owners seeking convenience and enhanced functionality for outdoor living.

How does the automatic extension and retraction feature work?

The automatic extension and retraction feature of the Solera® Awning Arms is powered by a 12V system that connects directly to your RV's electrical outlets. Upon activation, an electric motor smoothly extends or retracts the awning arms, providing a seamless operation. This means you can set up your outdoor area in seconds without manual effort, which is especially beneficial in windy or unexpected weather conditions, making your camping experience more enjoyable and less stressful.

Can these awning arms withstand harsh weather conditions?

Yes, the Solera® Standard 12V Awning Arms are constructed from durable materials to withstand varying weather conditions. The design features enhanced resistance to UV rays and water, ensuring that they remain functional and reliable during rain, sunshine, or windy conditions. This durability is crucial for avid travelers or full-time RVers who need appliances that can endure the elements and support extended outdoor activities without degradation.

What maintenance is required for the Solera® Awning Arms?

To keep the Solera® Standard 12V Awning Arms functioning optimally, regular maintenance is recommended. This includes cleaning the arms with mild soap and water to prevent dirt and debris buildup. It's also important to periodically check all electrical connections and moving parts for wear or damage. By maintaining the kit, you ensure a long-lasting performance that enhances your RV outdoor experience, making it safer and more enjoyable.

How does the Solera® Awning Arms compare to manual awning systems?

The Solera® Awning Arms offer a significant advantage over manual systems by providing convenience and ease of use. Unlike manual awnings that require physical effort to extend or retract, the Solera® system operates with the push of a button, which is particularly advantageous for those with mobility challenges or in adverse weather conditions. This technology not only saves time but also enhances safety by reducing the risk of injury that can occur with manual handling during setup.

Are additional parts needed for installation?

Typically, the Solera® Standard 12V Awning Arms & Hardware Kit comes with all the essential components for installation. This includes necessary brackets and mounting hardware tailored for a variety of RV configurations. However, if your RV has unique requirements or if you're modifying an existing setup, additional parts might be needed. Always refer to the provided installation guide to confirm what is included and what may need to be acquired separately, ensuring a smooth setup.

What colors are available for the Solera® Awning Arms?

The Solera® Standard 12V Awning Arms are available in various colors, including classic white, which is designed to complement many RV exteriors. The choice of color allows you to match the awning arms to your RV style for an aesthetically pleasing look. Selecting the right color can enhance the overall appearance of your RV, making it look more unified and appealing, whether you're parked at a campsite or travelling on the road.
