Gardner Bender Ring Editorial Review
The Gardner Bender 15-108 Electrical Ring Terminal is an insulated barrel, crimp connection terminal ideal for 12-10 AWG wires. It comes in yellow with a ring size of "5/16 - ⅜ inch. stud size." According to customer feedback, it can fit either 5/16" or 3/8" studs and tighten up securely. The ID is adequate for 3/8" stud. It can handle 14g and smaller wires, making it not suitable for the main battery cable/wire, but works well for adding auxiliary circuits. The ring opening is 10.5mm, so it will fit over a 10mm diameter bolt. Customers have described the terminal as easy to use, excellent quality, and well-made. Others have found it to be a lightweight terminal prone to distortion while being crimped, and the ring can bend easily leading to the wire being in an awkward position. One customer complained that the product images showed two different inner diameters, but all the connectors were the same hole diameter. However, customers seem to like the terminal's quality and economical price.
