Steamforged Games Board Games SFBS-001 Editorial Review
Steamforged Games Bardsung: Legend of The Ancient Forge is a board game that offers an enjoyable and inclusive gaming experience for 1-5 players. The creators of the game have taken inspiration from Dungeons & Dragons, but have condensed the gameplay into a shorter and more accessible format. One of the standout features of Bardsung is the attention to detail in the design of the game. The box is well thought out and contains dozens of high quality and durable miniatures that bring the game to life. This adds to the immersive experience and is sure to appeal to fans of fantasy role-playing games. The game itself offers 45-60 minutes of gameplay, making it an ideal choice for a family game night or an evening spent with friends. While there may be a slight learning curve, once players get the hang of it, they are likely to find the game highly enjoyable and engaging. The combat mechanics are particularly noteworthy, providing a fun and strategic element to the gameplay. One reviewer mentioned that they were initially Considering purchasing a hobgoblin miniature box from Steamforge, but found that buying Bardsung was a better option due to the additional miniatures and extras included in the game package. This offers great value for money and ensures players have everything they need to fully enjoy the game. Overall, Bardsung is a fantastic purchase that offers hours of entertainment and will hold its value over time. It is a game that brings people together and provides a welcome escape into a fantasy world.
