What is a Muffler Exhaust Wash Plug and what is its purpose?

A Muffler Exhaust Wash Plug is a specialized tool used to block the exhaust outlet of a motorcycle's muffler. Its primary purpose is to prevent water and debris from entering the exhaust system during washing or storage, which can damage internal components. By securely sealing the exhaust, it ensures that your bike remains in optimal condition. This is particularly beneficial for two-stroke motorcycles where moisture can lead to rust and corrosion in the exhaust system.

How is the Coitak Muffler Exhaust Wash Plug sized?

The Coitak Muffler Exhaust Wash Plug is designed to fit exhaust outlets ranging from 0.6 to 1.5 inches in diameter. This size range is versatile, accommodating various motorcycle models and ensuring a snug fit. When choosing a plug, it's important to measure your exhaust pipe's diameter to ensure compatibility. A proper fit prevents any leaks, thereby maximizing the plug's effectiveness in protecting your motorcycle's exhaust system during maintenance activities.

Is the Coitak Wash Plug suitable for all motorcycle types?

While the Coitak Wash Plug is especially designed for two-stroke motorcycles, it can also be used on various motorcycle types that fall within the specified size range.
