What are Seven Top Turnip Seeds?
Answer: Seven Top Turnip Seeds are specially cultivated seeds ideal for growing turnip greens rather than root vegetables. Known for their robust greens, these plants thrive in cool weather and provide abundant, nutritious leaves that can be harvested multiple times throughout the growing season. A favored choice among gardeners focused on heirloom varieties, these non-GMO seeds ensure a sustainable growing experience. -
Question:
How do I grow Seven Top Turnip from seeds?
Answer: To grow Seven Top Turnip, start by preparing well-drained, fertile soil. Sow the seeds at a depth of about half an inch during the cooler months. Ensure adequate spacing of about 4-6 inches between seeds to allow for the greens to flourish. Regular watering is essential, especially in dry spells, to promote healthy leaf growth. Harvest when leaves are young and tender for the best flavor. This makes them excellent for home gardens aiming for a continuous supply of greens. -
