Rocketfish Selector Switch Boxes RF-G1185 Editorial Review
The Rocketfish RF-G1185 4-Port HDMI Selector is a hardwired remote-controlled switch that helps in connecting multiple HDMI inputs to one HDTV screen that has only one HDMI input jack. It also helps in switching between multiple HDMI inputs using a remote control or the button on top of the unit. The device also automatically switches to the input that is active. The product can be powered using a wall outlet or connected to a surge protector. Based on customer reviews, the product has received a mixed reception. Some customers have stated that the Rocketfish HDMI Selector works great and is a functional setup, while others have had defects with the product. Some have reported issues with remotes, where the device does not respond or work at all, while others do not have any problems with the remote control. A few users have mentioned that the automatic switching system is not very effective and some devices do not work with the HDMI Switcher. The Rocketfish RF-G1185 4-Port HDMI Selector would be an excellent non-4K option for those who want to connect numerous devices to one TV.
