Customer Questions & Answers

  • Question: How does the Stem Kills Fruit Fly Trap work?

Answer: The Stem Kills Fruit Fly Trap utilizes botanical extracts that effectively attract and capture fruit flies. Once the flies enter the trap through its specially designed opening, they are unable to escape. This method is designed to be safe for indoor use while eliminating unwanted pests without the use of harsh chemicals. This is particularly useful in kitchens, where fruit flies can thrive around exposed fruits and vegetables.
  • Question: Is the Stem Kills Fruit Fly Trap safe for pets and children?

Answer: Yes, the Stem Kills Fruit Fly Trap is made with botanical extracts that are generally considered safe around pets and children. It's a non-toxic solution that targets fruit flies specifically and reduces the risk of accidental harm. However, it's always wise to place the trap out of reach of very young children and pets to minimize risk. This makes it an ideal choice for households looking for a natural solution to pest problems.
  • Question: Where can I place the Stem Kills Fruit Fly Trap for best results?

Answer: For optimal effectiveness, place the Stem Kills Fruit Fly Trap near sources of fruit fly activity, such as fruit bowls, compost bins, or garbage cans. Areas where you notice a high concentration of flies will yield the best results. By positioning the trap strategically, you can significantly reduce the fruit fly population in your home and keep your living space more comfortable.
  • Question: How long does the Stem Kills Fruit Fly Trap last?

Answer: The effectiveness of the Stem Kills Fruit Fly Trap can last for several weeks, depending on environmental factors such as temperature and humidity. It's designed to attract flies continuously as long as the botanical extracts remain potent. For sustained fruit fly control, it is advisable to replace the trap when insect capture decreases or after visible saturation.
  • Question: Can I use the Stem Kills Fruit Fly Trap outdoors?

Answer: While the Stem Kills Fruit Fly Trap is primarily designed for indoor use, it may be used in sheltered outdoor areas, such as patios or porches, especially if you notice fruit flies there. However, exposure to rain or direct sunlight may reduce its effectiveness over time. For outdoor situations, consider using multiple traps to cover larger areas.
  • Question: How do you refill or replace the Stem Kills Fruit Fly Trap?

Answer: The Stem Kills Fruit Fly Trap is a single-use product, so it does not require refills. Once you notice a drop in effectiveness or the trap fills with flies, it is recommended to replace it with a new one for ongoing pest control. This design ensures that you are always using a fresh trap that maximizes attraction and capture.
  • Question: What types of fruit flies does the Stem Kills Fruit Fly Trap target?

Answer: The Stem Kills Fruit Fly Trap is designed to target common species of fruit flies, particularly the Drosophila melanogaster, which is often found in kitchens or areas with ripe fruit. Its botanical extracts specifically attract these flies, making it a focused solution for those dealing with fruit fly infestations in their homes.
  • Question: What ingredients are used in the Stem Kills Fruit Fly Trap?

Answer: The primary ingredients in the Stem Kills Fruit Fly Trap include natural botanical extracts that are known for their attractant properties. These ingredients are selected for their ability to lure fruit flies effectively while remaining safe for indoor use. This makes it a popular choice for individuals looking for non-toxic pest control methods.
  • Question: Is the Stem Kills Fruit Fly Trap effective if I have a larger fruit fly infestation?

Answer: Yes, the Stem Kills Fruit Fly Trap can be effective for larger infestations; however, using multiple traps in different locations may be more effective. When dealing with significant issues, it’s essential to address the source of the infestation (such as poorly stored fruit) while supplementing with traps. This dual approach will enhance your overall pest control strategy.
  • Question: Where can I buy Stem Kills Fruit Fly Trap?

Answer: You can buy the Stem Kills Fruit Fly Trap at Ubuy in Guernsey. Ubuy offers a convenient online shopping experience, ensuring you can easily find this product and have it delivered to your doorstep, making pest control hassle-free.
