Answer: Yes, the miniature skull has those major ones on the inside and you can see them underneath as well. The fossas and ethmoid bone on the inside are pretty detailed too. -

Can I pull it apart it to remove the cheekbones and other items inside the skull?
Answer: You can remove the lower mandible and the calverium, but not the cheekbones. They are not removable on a real skull either, and this is meant to be an accurate model of such. -

Answer: It feels like a hard polymer to me- I love the texture they replicated-it feels very similar to human bone!! Hope this helps! -
