Many customers appreciate the quality of the thread, noting that it is suitable for various crochet projects. In terms of thickness, a user noted that this size 5 thread is thinner than expected when compared to Aunt Lydia's Fashion 3, which caught them off guard. Despite these critiques, the quality of the thread itself seems to shine through, and most customers agree that they would Consider repurchasing, albeit in a different color. Overall, the DMC Petra Crochet Cotton Thread, Size 5-5772 is well-received for its quality and usefulness in crocheting, but potential buyers should be mindful of color discrepancies and thickness when making their selection. **
