The KÖNIG K-Summit K11 snow chains are designed to be easy to install and remove, with minimal confusion over which part to use. However, the latest adjustable design presents a safety issue, there's an absolute certain loss of the chain while in use. Based on their design, the teeth are easily dislodged during installation and, if lost, will cause the chain to give a false indication that the chain is installed correctly. Additionally, the new adjustable lug nut adaptor is not repairable, so once any of the teeth fall out, the K-Summit K11 chain is no longer useful. While the chains come with a 5-year warranty, there's no procedure found on how to file a warranty claim.
