Williams 40221 12-Inch Strap Wrench

**** The Williams 40221 12-Inch Strap Wrench has garnered a mixed reception among users, with experiences ranging from frustration to satisfactory utility. Several customers reported significant issues with the product's durability and design. Notably, there are complaints regarding the strap's tendency to break during initial use, especially when applied to tougher materials like steel. One user experienced a frustrating breakdown that not only rendered the tool useless but also necessitated costly external assistance. On the other hand, some users found the wrench adequate for their needs, particularly for tasks involving PVC and lighter applications, such as pool filter maintenance. They noted that while the strap is made of fabric, which may be perceived as limiting, it did offer sufficient grip for less demanding tasks, even after repeated exposure to moisture. However, many critiques highlighted poor build quality, with reports of sharp burrs affecting the strap's integrity and an overall design that makes maneuverability challenging in tighter spaces. Consequently, potential buyers should weigh the tool's affordability against its limitations, especially if they intend to use it in heavy-duty applications. **
