According to customers, the product works well and is a perfect fit for their generators. Some customers suggest that it is important to get the part number to match the item needed perfectly. It is also important to check the threaded nipple out of the tank to avoid purchasing the wrong switch. Adding new fuel lines with clamps is advisable, especially if the unit is old. However, one customer had an unpleasant experience with the product. The said that the valve would not stop gas on or off, and fuel kept trickling out in the on position. They took it apart to find a deformed gasket and advised other customers not to buy it.
