    Answer: No, it is not loud enough to be heard everywhere. It can be heard in a few rooms, maybe up to 3 if they are small rooms. Using a wireless extender is recommended for greater distance.

    Answer: This doorbell is mechanical (analog).
  • Question: Will it work in Australia (240 volts)?

    Answer: No, the transformer is made to work with 120 volts.
  • Question: Can the transformer be attached to a metal junction box?

    Answer: Yes, the transformer can be attached to anything. Self-tapping screws can be used to attach it to a metal junction box.
  • Question: Is this compatible with Honeywell Skybell?

    Answer: Yes, it should work with that unit.
  • Question: Does it work with Nest?

    Answer: We recommend confirming with Nest, but it should not be a problem.
  • Question: How do you switch chimes?

    Answer: To switch chimes, you need to change the wiring. Inside the chime cover, you will see three screws labeled front door, back door, and transformer. Switch the wiring from front door to back door if you want the ding tune.
