AP Vise Grips & Locking Pliers Editorial Review
The product in question is a versatile pliers designed for various uses such as body work, removing ball joints, and pulling nails. However, some users found it bulky for tasks like working on a cv axle in a front-wheel-drive car. The adjustable vise grips have been deemed handy, with one user expressing pleasure over its convenience. However, a specific complaint raised was the action of the slide hammer, which caused the adjusting screw to back off, releasing the pliers. Some users were also dissatisfied with the handle's hinge, finding it difficult to work with and prone to falling out. Despite these concerns, users praised the product's ability to grip and pull without damaging materials like drywall. There were differing opinions about the pliers' durability, with some experiencing issues with the threading and others finding them resilient during tasks like pulling ball joints.
