Nutritionist's Take
The Propylene Glycol Humidor Solution is primarily used for maintaining humidity in cigar humidifiers and does not provide nutritional value as it's not intended for consumption. Propylene glycol is generally recognized as safe by the FDA when used appropriately in food and cosmetics. However, its use in a product meant for cigars raises concerns about inhalation exposure, which may have unknown long-term health effects. It's important to note that this product is not suitable for all dietary needs, especially for individuals with sensitivity to additives or those following a strictly natural health regimen. Additionally, while it serves a functional purpose in maintaining cigar quality, it does not contribute to overall health and should not be considered a 'healthy' choice. Consumers should weigh the benefits of cigar preservation against potential inhalation risks.
