It is recommended to properly size the filter based on the gallons per day of usage in your household. This filter is rated at 800 GPD, but there are bigger options available. The kit includes the filter and housing, but not Extent & Lok. There is also a filter handle extender (Polylok part number: A1801-HEK) designed to fit this filter. Overall, the filter is easy to install and works well.
