Drama Editorial Review
The film "The Glass House" has received mixed reviews, with some praising its powerful portrayal of a man resisting corruption in a prison environment. The audience connects with the protagonist's struggle to maintain integrity in the face of pervasive corruption. The screenplay by Truman Capote is commended, as well as the acting. However, some reviewers found the film slow and not very believable. The portrayal of the prison environment as resembling a college men's dormitory with handsome prisoners was Considered unrealistic by some. The depiction of darker themes such as homosexuality, drug flow, and corruption within the prison system is noted. The DVD itself received a negative review as the picture and sound quality were deemed unwatchable by one customer. Overall, the film is described as dark and lacking in uplifting elements.
