AQUILA CORDE ARMONICHE Classical Guitar Strings 53551 - Editorial Review
**** The Rubino classical guitar strings have garnered a notable reception among musicians, especially for their distinctive aesthetic and tonal qualities. Customers have highlighted the strings’ ability to produce a bright and clear sound, setting them apart from other brands such as Aquila. Users have described the basses as "responsive" and "mud-free," enhancing the overall playing experience without the unwanted grittiness often associated with less premium strings. The treble strings also receive praise for their slick feel and unique color, which complements the appearance of the guitar beautifully. While many players appreciate the sound quality and responsiveness of Rubino strings, there are some recurring concerns regarding their durability. Several users have reported increased instances of string breakage, particularly with the G string, which can be a significant drawback for those seeking longevity in their strings. However, the trade-off seems to be worthwhile for musicians who prioritize sound quality, as many claim these are their go-to strings for classical performance. Additionally, while players have noted a bit of wear on the strings, they affirm that this does not affect the fretboard negatively. Despite some mixed reviews on the longevity of the strings, the overall sentiment remains positive, with many agreeing that the unique aesthetic and the clarity of sound they produce justify making them a part of their musical toolkit. **
