Rancho RS5000X Gas Shocks Set - 97-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ With 3.5" Lift Kits

The Rancho RS5000X Gas Shocks Set for the 97-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ with 3.5 lift kits has received mixed reviews from customers. While some customers have found these shocks to be perfect for their vehicles, others have experienced issues with fitment. One customer inquired about the shipping weight, to which they were informed that the weight of the four shocks is approximately 15 pounds, contradicting the 70-pound weight mentioned in the product description. Another customer asked if the shocks include mounting bushings and bolts, and they were confirmed that they do. When it comes to the compatibility with a 3.5-inch lift, one user suggested checking the Jeep TJ forums for more information. Another customer with a 3 1/4-inch lift reported that these shocks were too long for their vehicle and recommended purchasing the "3INCH" lift version instead. However, for a 4-inch lift on a 1998 Wrangler TJ or a 2-inch suspension lift with 33-inch tires, the shocks were confirmed to be suitable. It's worth noting that one customer stated these shocks are specifically designed for a 4 to 5-inch lift, so they would not be compatible with a 2-inch lift. Despite the mixed feedback and issues with fitment, customers who have found a proper fit have appreciated the quality and performance of these shocks. Overall, the reception of the Rancho RS5000X Gas Shocks Set for the 97-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ with 3.5 lift kits is somewhat inConsistent. While they may work well for some vehicles, it is advisable to double-check the compatibility for specific lift heights and Consult forums if necessary.
