Alphacool Heatsinks Editorial Review
The Alphacool 17425 GPU RAM Copper Heatsinks are a great solution for cooling various components within the size range. While they are marketed as GPU RAM heatsinks, they can also be used for cooling other components like mosfets. The heatsinks are made of copper and have a polished bottom for efficient heat transfer. They work well with thermal tape or thermal glue for easy installation. Customers have generally had a positive experience with these heatsinks. They have found that they effectively dissipate heat when paired with proper airflow. The copper material adds to their performance and durability. However, some customers have noted that the fins on the heatsinks were slightly bent upon arrival, but this did not affect their efficiency. It's worth mentioning that the dimensions listed in the product description were inaccurate, as the actual product size is in centimeters, not inches. In terms of value for money, customers have found these heatsinks to be a great deal. They appreciate the performance, especially for VRM cooling, and the aesthetic appeal of the shiny copper material. Overall, the Alphacool 17425 GPU RAM Copper Heatsinks provide effective cooling for various components, with the added benefits of being made of copper and offering good value for money. Customers may need to straighten slightly bent fins, but this does not impact their efficiency.
