EISCO Nets Editorial Review
The Plankton Net and Collection Vial from Eisco Labs is designed to collect zooplankton from ponds and lakes for scientific study. Measuring 35 inches in depth and 12 inches in diameter, the net collects large zooplankton and comes with a plastic vial and two collection bottles. However, some customers have reported issues with the strength of the open-loop ring on the harness and the aluminum ring sewn inside the sleeve breaking after a few uses. There were also complaints about the lack of instructions on how to mount the collection tube and the cheap quality of the product, with some preferring a much cheaper kid's net. One customer also noted that the collection container came without a storage lid and secondary filtration was necessary. Despite these issues, many customers were pleased with the product's effectiveness in collecting plankton from bodies of water.
