The CURT 15302 Xtra Duty Class 5 Trailer Hitch is a great hitch at a good price. This is a short bed hitch, not suitable for a long bed truck. The hitch can hold a spare tire, though anything larger than 245x75x16 might be difficult. For safety chain clips, a 2" opening is needed. Installation can be done alone, but it is helpful to have a helper. It is perfect for a 2005 GMC Sierra and a 2006 Silverado 2500hd with a 2017 denali HD rear bumper. The hitch is substantially heavier than a factory one and everything seems to be of high quality. The shipping could be better as the mounting bolts bag was broken open during shipping.
