Eilumduo Reed Switches Editorial Review
The MC-33C Normally Closed Recessed Window Door Contact Sensor Alarm Magnetic Reed Switch has elicited a mixed reception from its users. Many appreciate the convenience of set screws instead of soldering, facilitating an easier installation process. This is particularly beneficial for those dealing with existing wiring, as one user highlighted the simplicities of replacing old sensors with these new ones, ultimately eliminating false alarms. However, quality control seems to be an issue, with several customers reporting defects. One user received a sensor that Constantly showed a closed status, while others experienced inConsistent performance. The strength of the magnets also drew criticism; some found that their lack of strength could lead to operational failures, especially in the presence of nearby steel materials. The feedback indicates a need for extra sensors as a precaution against potential defects, Consistently suggesting that customers should order more than they initially need. Despite some negative experiences, the general Consensus is that for the price, the product offers a good deal of value, particularly for those seeking a way to upgrade window alarm systems without extensive rewiring. Users find comfort in the fact that adjustments can be made with minimal hassle. **
