Larissa Veronica Thickeners Editorial Review
Pickling Lime (16 oz, ZIN: 524953) is an essential product for anyone looking to preserve fresh eggs for extended periods. This pickling lime allows you to water glass eggs, which keeps them fresh for up to 2 years, providing a sustainable solution especially during winter months when hens might not lay. Users have noted its effectiveness when mixed correctly with water, emphasizing the importance of using unwashed eggs to maintain their protective bloom. While some have experienced issues with the lime not dissolving completely, the majority find it a reliable product for egg preservation, and it brings peace of mind knowing they can store eggs safely for long-term use.
