Nutritionist's Take
NOW Foods Empty Gelatin Capsules are bovine-sourced and offer a practical way to encapsulate powdered supplements. Nutritionists often appreciate the convenience of these capsules for those looking to manage their supplement intake effectively. The quality of the gelatin is significant; however, consumers with dietary restrictions, such as vegetarians and vegans, should be cautious as these capsules are animal-derived. The small size makes them easy to swallow, appealing to a broader audience. Potential drawbacks include the risk of allergenicity in those sensitive to beef products. Overall, these capsules can be a healthy choice for individuals needing to personalize their supplementation but may not suit everyone due to their animal origin. It is vital for consumers to evaluate their dietary preferences and health goals when considering these capsules.
NOW Blended Vitamin & Mineral Supplements 5210 Editorial Review
**** The NOW Foods Empty Gelatin Capsules have garnered a strong positive response from customers, particularly pet owners who face challenges in administering medication to their animals. The #3 bovine-sourced capsules are praised for their extra small size, making them ideal for cats and small dogs. Users have highlighted how these capsules simplify the medication process, allowing them to fill multiple small pills into a single capsule, thereby reducing stress for both themselves and their pets. Many reviewers appreciate the ease of use when filling and sealing the capsules, noting that they can easily crush medications and combine them, which is especially helpful for pets requiring multiple daily doses. These capsules are also welcomed by individuals who struggle with swallowing larger pills, enabling them to transfer contents from larger capsules into these smaller ones without waste. Most customers find the capsules effective in containing various powders and vitamins without causing stomach issues. While the product receives accolades for its usefulness and functionality, some users mentioned the pricing as a potential downside, indicating a desire for a more cost-effective option. Nevertheless, the overall sentiment remains overwhelmingly positive. **
