The fret work is good, the included strings are fairly decent, and the bass is playable straight out of the box. The neck feels great and the Okoume body is durable enough. The tuning machines are not ultralights but not especially heavy, and the bridge is solid. The pickup and jack wires have quick-connects, which is a significant help for beginners, and the solderless connectors are a very nice touch. It is said to be an excellent product at an affordable price.
