The innovative 42in three-position ramp allows you to easily load and unload your scooter and, when not in use, the ramp folds flat to the carrier for tailgate or hatch access. Best of all, with our specially designed hitch attachment, this carrier folds up against the back of your vehicle when not in use to make driving and parking easier. For most vehicles with this folding attachment you will be able to park your car in your garage without removing the carrier. The specialty ergonomically designed spring pin handles included on this mobility carrier make operation incredibly user friendly. These exclusive carrier handles eliminate the difficult standard style pin-rings, allowing users to simply grab and pull when you need to position the loading ramp. Also included with the carrier is an anti-rattle device which slides onto the hitch tube to prevent the rack from wobbling during transportation. Durable and lightweight, this is one of the most user-friendly wheelchair carriers on the market. Usage Guidelines Please note, hitch-mounted mobility carriers are not recommended for use on tow-behind trailers including 5th wheel and camping trailers, motor-homes or RVs. Never exceed the maximum tongue rating of your trailer hitch and be aware that your hauling weight may be limited by your vehicle's suspension. Some vehicles may require air shocks or heavier springs to stiffen up the suspension and prevent sagging. Not recommended for use with hitch adapters/extensions. Not designed to carry scooter or wheelchair while occupied. Maximum scooter or wheelchair width of 27in.
