The Zvezda Russian Special Forces 1:35 Model Kit Z3561 provides a good quality kit for model enthusiasts. The equipment moulded onto the figures is nice and the weapons have collapsible stocks with some having sound suppression or a grenade launcher under the barrel. Although noticeable, there are only tiny flashes on the bottom of the boots, and no separation lines on the legs. However, some mold separation needs to be scraped off and aligning the hands and arms in a weapon readiness pose was very hard, especially with the sniper. The figures are molded in grey styrene, but the headdress is all-moulded with separate heads which could be modified. Overall, the kit provides a rare subject to model modern Soviet Special Forces troops with ease which is great for those looking to add them to various ideas and vehicles.
