Answer: The metal lip is approximately 3/16" (just slightly under by about 1/32") -

How high does it go up the edge?
Answer: 1/2"- 5/8". Has magnetic pieces that you can add to the bottom to make that less. -

What is the distance from the hammer strike point to the wall and what is the overall length of the bar?
Answer: It is approximately 14" from the end of the bar, closest to the wall, to the strike point. The distance to the wall is going to depend on the expansion gap needed for installation, if any. The overall length of the PRO Pull Bar is 21.5".
