Rubies Costumes Editorial Review
The Rubies The Wizard of Oz: Dorothy Costume for Adults has garnered a mix of reviews that highlight both its appeal and some notable issues. Many customers appreciate the costume for its nostalgic resemblance to the iconic Dorothy from the beloved movie, making it a popular choice for themed events and school plays. The dress is primarily praised for being cute, of decent quality given its price, and generally comfortable, with many noting it fits well or allows for some room. A few reviews specifically mentioning their height and weight indicate that the costume can accommodate a range of body types, suggesting a versatile fit overall. However, there are common areas of concern that customers have highlighted. Several users mentioned that while the front straps might seem loose, it does not significantly detract from the overall appearance. The crinoline underneath the skirt is often described as scratchy, leading customers to recommend wearing something underneath for added comfort. Fit issues were also noted, especially with the sleeve openings being tight for some customers. Others experienced sizing discrepancies, with some ordering sizes smaller or larger than expected but finding them fitting differently than anticipated. Despite the drawbacks, the costume has earned compliments and positive recognition during wear, suggesting that it remains an enjoyable choice for various occasions. Overall, it seems that those willing to navigate the fit quirks and minor irritations find it a suitable homage to Dorothy. **
