Answer: They are pretty tight but if the hooks are very small they can slip through. My solution was to put the small hooks in a pill bottle. -

Answer: My hubby just used the tackle box with plastic inserts yesterday for the first time. He loves it - he said the plastic is not 100 percent clear and did not feel brittle. -

What makes these containers waterproof? I'm not seeing any gasket or seal.
Answer: It appears obvious that this is not waterproof as there are no gaskets preventing water leaking at the lid. Claiming it is waterproof is a real reach and untrue. If you have any regular Flambeau or Plano boxes of this type you know what I’m saying is fact. They leak if water rises over the lid, it will on this product also. To get actual waterproof boxes they need the gasket and several locking points to stop water ingress. Sorry, just a fact. Calling this waterproof will never make it so. -
